There are always so many questions when it comes to Skin Classic Treatments so we thought we’d answer some of the most frequently asked questions for you!
Q: So, Just How Does It Work?
A: Skin Classic is a direct, high-frequency, non-laser machine that uses a probe to treat minor skin irregularities. The irregularities that can currently be treated are telangiectasias (broken capillaries), cherry angiomas, keratosis, fibromas, skin tags, hyperpigmentation, milia, sebaceous hyperplasia, and acne pimples/blackheads. The probe itself delivers direct high frequency to the area that will be treated. To be more specific, we do not remove skin irregularities, we treat them with Skin Classic by dehydrating the skin irregularity (or irregularities) so they will naturally slough (or fall off) in a matter of days. The smaller the treatment, the quicker it tends to slough off!
Q: Does It Hurt?
A: Our clients will experience a very quick “stinging” sensation that lasts only for the time the probe is touching the skin irregularity. Most areas take mere seconds to treat, and then we move on to the next. The eye area, nose, and neck area are definitely the most sensitive, but we promise, it’s worth the minor discomfort. Take a look at how the Skin Classic works below.
Q: Do You Numb the Area or Areas?
A: No, we do not numb. It is such a quick service with minimal pain there is no need to numb the area. Take a look at these amazing results!
Q: Should I Expect Downtime?
A: Everyone heals differently. This all depends on your age, cell turnover, and the elements. Typically the healing process is seven to ten days. This cherry angioma will be healed in no time! Q: What Is the Process Like After Treatment?
A: With Skin Classic Home Care After Treatment, it is common to feel minor irritation, as well as redness. The actual irregularity may get darker as it has been dehydrated and some crusting may form on the areas treated. (Pro Tip: If the area is still irritated by the end of the day, a clean baggie of frozen peas works well! The peas defrost quickly, so usually there is little to no chance of skin damage.)
