Waxing Services
At Smoothe, we have a variety of waxing services to choose from on the face (brows, lip, chin, cheeks, etc.), legs, chest and stomach, arms, bikini, and back areas—plus underarms, butt, nipples, and thighs. We use stripless, hard wax to give you a more comfortable waxing service. It’s also great for those who have sensitive skin!
While waxing is typically thought of as a summertime service, it’s important to keep waxing in the fall as if you go back to shaving, you’ll slow down your progress towards sparser, finer hair. Not to mention, smooth skin = confident skin! So make sure to keep up with your appointments, and take advantage of our 20% off waxing special through Oct. 31, 2022, with Stephanie!
Lash Treatments
If you want fuller-looking, sculpted eyebrows that are hassle-free, you should definitely check out our brow and lash tinting, brow lamination, and henna services! We offer eyebrow and lash tinting, and eyebrow lamination, tinting, and henna. Brow lamination infuses keratin into the brow hairs, a lot like our Keratin Lash Infusion service, except it’s for your brows!

We are excited to welcome Lead Esthetician Stephanie to the Smoothe team! Stephanie has been licensed for eight years. She loves to pamper people and help them gain confidence to love the skin they’re in, with her driving force being making her clients feel their best! Smoothe Takes Chicago
The entire Smoothe team headed to Chicago for the International Esthetics, Cosmetics, & Spa Conference from September 10, 2021, through September 14, 2021.
Smoothe Update
We have been keeping an eye out on a potential re-open date. The State Board’s latest update was made on April 23, 2020. Governor Cooper announced the tentative reopening date for cosmetic art shops in NC has been rescheduled. Executive Order 135 has extended the stay at home order through May 8, 2020 at 5:00. After May 8, a tentative phased return-to-work plan will address the opening of businesses that can operate with social distancing, and later a second phase may include salons with restrictions regarding numbers of customers. There is no specific date assigned for cosmetic art shops and schools in any part of the state to reopen at this time. Cosmetic Art services cannot be performed while observing social distancing.
At this moment in time, there is no projected reopening date for salons.
If you wish to schedule an appointment at this time, our books are open to July 31, 2020. Please schedule a few weeks out. We will continue to send updates as soon as we get more information on the reopening of salons. We miss you and want to see you, but we will do so when it is safe.
In the meantime…
When we do reopen, it will be like your first wax. Keep growing out those brows while you are staying home. Here are a few tips in case you forgot:
- Your hair growth should be the size of a long grain of rice for waxing which is 2-3 weeks of growth
- 24/48 Hours After Any Services Are Performed:
- No soaking in a HOT bath
- Refrain from any skin to skin contact or friction
- Do not swim, sunbathe, or spray tan
- Refrain from sweating, makeup application or any other pore-clogging ingredients
- Do not exfoliate for 24 hours before and after services
- Do not shave the area, possible irritation could form

Can You Keep a Secret? Smoothe is Expanding
Smoothe is expanding to add a new room across from our current room inside of Posh Salon 104. We are also giving our current room a face-lift.

Lindsey is back from maternity leave and has opened up her schedule for a couple of dates in April for help with your waxing and skincare needs.
Lindsey’s Maternity Leave Begins Friday, February 22
Lindsey will be starting maternity leave on February 22. While she is gone, Erin will be handling all of your esthetic needs and we know you will love her.
